The Soldiers Table Unveiled
The third episode ended with a major cliffhanger and presented the premier party of characters who will split off from the primary party to undertake their own adventure, distinct from the additional parties.
The Soldiers table includes the determined fighter (portrayed by the voice actor), Thimble (Laura), the strong-willed figure (Whitney Moore), Wicander (Sam), and Kattigan (the actor).
Dividing the Cast
Given 13 cast members, it was obvious from the beginning that maintaining everyone at the same party would be unfeasible.
This explains, the first four episodes of this story serve as an Introduction, weaving together the individual narratives before dividing into three distinct groups: Soldiers, Planners, and Questers.
The Nature of the Soldiers Table
Per the DM, the warrior group is for participants who are drawn to a typically action-packed battle-oriented narrative style where diplomatic options are rare.
Initially, figures such as the squeamish cleric the cleric might look out of place, but the events of the latest installment show why these particular heroes are ideally matched for the warrior group.
Reasons to Leave
For one thing, the party understands precisely where to proceed after a brutal initial meeting with the antagonists.
A former ally of the deceased character—whose demise kicked off the campaign’s events—manipulated the foes for his selfish purposes, invading the hidden lair, assaulting Thimble, and taking all the enchanted items to auction.
The antagonist then paid off his liabilities and ran away to a secure base in the remote area, above the city, with Teor’s brother hot on his heels.
Character Drivers
Secondly, each member has a personal reason to depart the urban setting:
- Thimble, as the companion and closest confidant, seeks revenge.
- Kattigan has experience in Timmony and warns that it is a nasty location.
- Tyranny and The healer, having resisted his family’s wishes to eliminate Teor and instead rescued him, have no other options.
- But, their status as prominent individuals in the powerful family could enable the party enter places they normally couldn’t.
- Additionally, The fighter swore a unbreakable promise to The cleric for his salvation and will now accompany him anywhere.
Pursued by Authorities
In addition, all of them are hunted by the authorities that rule the city for a multiple motives, making lingering locally dangerous:
- The agile adventurer and The hero are recognized lawbreakers.
- The strong figure and The healer defied House Halovar and the legion of demons they are partnered with.
- The target is targeted for elimination by House Halovar.
This results in them no alternative but to journey toward the remote area in pursuit of the traitor.
